Corona Vaccine Latest Update: COVID-19 Antibodies
Explainer: How Many Days does Antibodies remain in the body after Defeating Corona, Research Revealed
The debate is still underway on
making effective vaccines for corona and the body's natural immunity against it.
Some experts say that the ability of survivors to survive in it remains around
50 days, while others have a different opinion. Know (COVID antibodies

Mumbai, Maharashtra;
Experts
closely monitoring the corona say that antibodies do not persist in the body of
patients who have recovered from the corona for a very long time. The report,
based on a survey conducted by JJ Group of Hospitals staff in Mumbai, suggests
that these antibodies have not survived in the body for more than a few months.
This fact may prove to be decisive in deciding the course of treatment of
corona, especially, in preparing its vaccine and planning strategy for the public.
Let's know what the whole issue is-
What are Antibodies and Why are they Important
Antibodies are important parts of our body's immune system. These are elements of proteins called immunoglobulins. At the same time, the elements that cause harm in the body are called antigens. These can be viruses, bacteria, or harmful chemicals.
Antibodies
act as search battalions or search soldiers in our bodies. The special thing is
that every different type of antigen has different antibodies. They come out of
our cells to find enemies or antigens, find them and stick to them and destroy
them. Once the body is right after fighting a disease, antibodies are formed in
the body against the disease which protects the body from similar infections in the future.
What Happened in the Study?
Dr. Nishant
Kumar, head of the study, says, 'Seven weeks ago, 28 out of 801 healthcare
workers at JJ, GT, and St George hospitals were found to be corona positive in
the RT-PCR test. But during the serosurvey in June, antibodies were not found
in any of these bodies.
JJ Hospital
conducted a survey of 34 more people. They were found to be corona positive in
PCR tests three and five weeks ago. It was observed that 90% and 38.5% of these
people had antibodies respectively. Meaning antibodies perished over time.

'Antibodies to corona soon fade away'
After
further analysis of this report, it was concluded that antibodies against
corona is rapidly destroyed. Some surveys around the world also show that
three weeks after the infection, most of the antibodies are present in the
body, but they soon disappear.
The Effect of Corona Vaccine will last Only 50 Days!
It is also
being concluded from this research that if the survey is correct, then after
giving the vaccine its effect will be only 50 days. That is, antibodies will
die out 50 days after vaccination and there will be an increased risk of
coronation again.
These Affect the Strategy of Making and Applying Vaccine
Dr. Nishant
Kumar says, "These results suggest that we need to rework the vaccine the strategy right now." The research team says that it is very possible that
the public will have to be prepared to have multiple doses instead of single
doses of vaccine.
But Some Experts Don't Agree
Some health
experts do not agree with this theory. Giridhar R Babu, an epidemiologist at
the Public Health Foundation of India, says that we do not know whether the 28
patients who had corona had symptoms or not. Research in the West suggests that
antibodies were seen for three to four months in patients who were cured of the severe corona.

Another senior doctor in Mumbai says that more research is needed on our body's immune system against corona infection. It has been learned that T cells play an effective role against the corona in place of antibodies called immunoglobulin G (IgG), so there is no need to panic. Some others say that without conducting a continuous survey, it would be wrong to say that they are ending soon.
