ISIS-linked terrorist on Friday
Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh;
The father Abu Yusuf, an ISIS suspected terrorist arrested from Delhi's Dhaulakuan,
expressed regret over his son's handiwork. Yusuf's father Kafeel Ahmed said
that he wishes his son could be forgiven once but he had done wrong. Explain that
Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested a suspected ISIS-linked terrorist on
Friday.
Joseph's
father said, 'I regret that he was involved in such activities. I wish she
could be forgiven for once but she did the wrong thing. If I had known about
his activities, I would have asked him to leave us forever. '
Arrested near Delhi's Dhaulakuan
After the
encounter near Dhaula Kuan Ridge Road in Delhi, police arrested a suspected
terrorist named Abu Yusuf. Several weapons, including IEDs, were recovered from
him. He told the Special Cell of the Delhi Police that if he succeeded in the
plan to terrorize Delhi, then his next step was to carry out a suicide attack.
The belt was ready for a suicide attack
In police
interrogation, Abu Yusuf confessed that he has also prepared a belt to tie
explosives to the body for a suicide attack. This information was given by the
DSP of Special Cell of Delhi Police to the media. He said that Abu Yusuf wanted
a big blast in a very crowded area of Delhi. It came in contact with ISIS
handlers through social media and went to work in Saudi Arabia before 2010.
Delhi Wanted to come on 15 August
The DSP
said that after this order from the handler, Abu Yusuf was looking for a major
event, but his activities were reduced due to the lockdown due to the Covid-19
epidemic. Then he was going to come to Delhi around 15 August but could not
come due to tight security. When he felt that the security system might have
become lax, he turned to Delhi and was caught in a light encounter on Friday
night from the Dhaula Kuan area.
Runs a Cosmetic Store
Abu Yusuf is a resident of Badhaya Bhainsahi village of Utraula police station area of Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh. He is survived by his wife and four children. It has a cosmetic shop in the village. According to the police, the A 36-year-old militant was found with two IED-based pressure cooker bombs, a sophisticated pistol, four cartridges, a motorcycle that may have been stolen.
