Nadda Remembers Dhyanchand On Sports Day Wishes Players

Giving thanks to Modi for promoting the sports and creating a conducive environment in the country, Nadda said that the Prime Minister has given the game He has taken forward by connecting with health and has encouraged the sportspersons through programs and various schemes like "Khelo India" and "Fit India".


It is noteworthy that Dhyanchand is considered to be the best player of hockey. He had an amazing ability to score goals. During his playing, India won three gold medals in hockey (1928, 1932 and 1936) at the Olympics. This was the time which is called the golden period of hockey in India. He was born on this day in 1905. August 29 is celebrated as National Sports Day in the country.
