On August 10, Sonia's one-year term as interim president has been completed. However, it is being said that in the CWC meeting, Sonia may be asked to continue in the post or there may be a demand for Rahul to be re-elected. According to sources, both are hardly convinced.

Priyanka Will Get Big Responsibility?

Party insiders say that it may be that 4 vice presidents are appointed to help Sonia or that Sonia should appoint someone as the interim president until Rahul agrees to the post of president. However, this seems unlikely. Many party leaders are also advocating for Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. However, Priyanka herself has not opened any cards about this.

Discussion of the party is intensified that the real agenda of the CWC is going to be the new president.
