Dawood Ibrahim was born on 27 December 1955 in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. Dawood Ibrahim's father was the head constable in the Mumbai Police. Dawood Ibrahim had 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Dawood Ibrahim was not interested in studies since childhood. Dawood Ibrahim soon got into wrongdoings.

It started by threatening a Mumbai businessman, for which Dawood also had to go to jail. Dawood Ibrahim is the main accused in the 1993 bomb blasts. Apart from this, there are dozens of cases on it. Dawood Ibrahim has left India and lives in Karachi city of Pakistan.

Dawood Ibrahim has been declared a Global Terrorist. In 2006, the Government of India submitted a list of 38 wanted criminals to Pakistan, which also included Dawood Ibrahim's name.

Dawood Ibrahim's al Qaeda terrorist was also believed to have links with Osama bin Laden. Dawood Ibrahim visited Afghanistan in 1990. The Taliban ruled there at that time.
